Welcome to Bryan Yarbrough's Shaping School Page.
Byran completed a 9'7" Long board is just under 4 weeks time. At the age of 17, Bryan has given up on short boards, and has completely converted to soul surfing. I am convinced that Bryan was born in the wrong era. An avid Led Zeppelin fan, cruising with his toes on the nose, and surfing with the dawn patrol at Manasquan Inlet, Bryan soul is well into its 40's.

Working long hours with unfamiliar tools, Bryan showed excellent craftsmanship, and patience while building his board. Fixed on finishing his board before Labor day weekend, Bryan sanded for nearly 5hrs. His little cousin helped us pass the time by asking more questions than all of my customers combined. I think the only question he did not ask is "Why do Zebras have stripes?" Perhaps one day Bryan will help him make his first board.

Special thanks to Bryans parents for driving him back and forth from Brick, usually during some sort of rush hour traffic. Bryan plans on making more boards in the future.

Now in 2008 Bryan has returned to the Shop and built his second longboard. He is also now going to college in California and surfing on a nearly daily basis.
