Tested in NJ fall swell and Hawaii winter swell the Quasar and held fast in chest to overhead conditions primarily as a quad. Tested and modified the board itself combines a low entry rocker, thicker mid section, and rear wing design that allows for easy wave entry and a skate board like feel in the wave. Recommended to be sized at 4-6 inches shorter than the rider this is Surrealg's preferred board and most popular summer/fall model. Tested NJ Breaks: Bayhead, Manasquan, Sea Girt, LBI(Holyoke). Developed strictly for easy paddling and can handle from knee high to double overhead conditions. Tested only in Hawaii presently this board is standard as a single, double or triple tail wing design allowing more maneuverability in a larger board. Recommended to be ridden 2-4 inches shorter than the rider this board thins out the width of the nose allowing for more aggressive entries into the lips of waves. Developed over the past 3 years this board incorporates sleek 50/50 rails, increased tail rocker and slim tail for that soft long board feel. Available is sizes from 8 ft to 10 ft this boards turns with ease while allowing the rider to walk the plank. Resin work and pin lines are buffed to a high gloss. All standard on this model.
