Product Description

fuego-surrealg.jpg
The Fuego is probably one of the most versatile boards we have as a standard model. Keeping volume under the riders chest area for better float during paddling, low entry rocker with a slightly turned up nose for easy paddling but able to take late drops and a pinched in tail for rail to rail transitions. This is one of our most requested models that we offer.

  1. Fuego 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Jul 2014

6-4 with large fcs carver II fins, paddles and catches waves with ease, duck diving in heavier shore break a bit more changeling than your average potato chip thin board. I found that the board has good to great speed and was easy to make it across softer sections, where I'd watch other guys in the water struggle to maintain their momentum. In over head surf it has great speed out of the bottom turns, is stable yet responsive. Personally I wouldn't ride this in anything smaller than waist high. Im 6'4 190, and really find this board fits my style of surfing very well, Id recommend riding it slightly smaller than your average board due to its volume.

  2. *From knee high to overhead 5 Star Review

I had a custom fuego build under the tutelage of Essence Surf and I love it. It floats and paddles like a fish while still enabling down the line speed and the pinned tail helps you throw turns better than you should. From knee high summer mush to head high plus cold water swells, it dominates. Late air drops and a snapped leash that sent it to the jetty to get pummeled and it still hasn't buckled. This board helps your surfing progress and leaves you feeling like a grom.

  3. Trying to max out your fun in the water? 5 Star Review

This board was made for snaking everyone in the lineup. The extra foam upfront and the mellow rocker makes paddling a breeze. Best of all, you'll become best friends with the long boarders from sitting on the outside so much. The tail of this board can't get any better. The pulled in rails give it amazing hold when the waves really start to pump and the rounded pintail makes turning effortless. This board is magic and super user friendly! The Fuego is a must have in any quiver!
